George Birge revealed Luke Bryan is his mystery collaboration partner after stirring anticipation with teasers on social media.

Birge shared a reel on Instagram on Wednesday morning (January 28) to make the announcement. The clip shows the “Mind On You” hitmaker sitting on a couch as he types out a text message: “Hey Buddy, I think it would be crazy if we did a song together…. You down?!”

“I can’t believe I’m sending this. There’s no — there’s no way he’s going to say yes to this,” Birge said as he contemplated the message. “Whatever. Send.”

Birge set his phone down on the coffee table in front of him, and waited; however, the wait didn’t take long.

Bryan, reading the text on his own phone, tapped Birge on the shoulder. “George,” he said, “I’m right here.”

“The boys are putting out a song together,” Birge confirmed in his caption. Bryan is joining him on “Ride Ride Ride,” a collaboration that’s slated to release on Friday, February 6.

Birge is gearing up for his headlining “Cowboy Songs Tour,” which includes a few rescheduled dates because of “historic snow and ice” over the weekend. Mackenzie CarpenterJake BanfieldBrian Fuller and Highway Home are joining Birge on select dates.
