Lauren Alaina shared stories behind some of the most sentimental items in her daughter’s nursery.
Alaina shared the first part of a two-part tour of the nursery on Instagram and TikTok on Tuesday afternoon (July 8). She opened the door to a dreamy, Western-themed room that she said “was so much fun to put together and is literally my favorite room in the house.”
“This furniture is my favorite thing in here,” Alaina said as she walked over to a pink dresser in the video filmed before her daughter's arrival. “My mom’s mom actually bought this furniture when she was pregnant with my mom. And she always said that when she passed, she wanted my mom to have it, so my mom would always remember exactly how old the furniture is. And momma gave it to me. We sanded these down and painted them pink. We got these little pulls. I did horses up top and saddles on the bottom. Over here, these are my favorite,” she said as she pointed out another furniture piece in the set. “We did cowboy boot pulls. They’re so cute.”
The “Those Kind Of Women” artist also pointed out decorative pieces that belonged to her stepfather, artwork made by her mother-in-law, an item that belonged to her father, an art piece the country star bought on her first-ever headlining tour, banjos from her great grandmother, a homemade blanket from a longtime fan and her grandmother, and more.
Alaina and her husband, Cam Arnold, welcomed daughter Beni Doll Arnold on June 11. Alaina said at that time that her daughter is “absolute perfection.” She and her husband also shared the sweet inspiration behind their baby’s name. Watch the first part of Alaina’s nursery tour here:
