Are you "Running To Remember"

For years I have had the privilege of running in the 5K, the relay, or once, we actually tried to make it through the half marathon! Oh, the memories! 🤪

The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is April 22-24. This year will no doubt be another champion year! Shoutout to the like more than 30 people who have done this race since the beginning! Another cool thing this year, the Josh Abbott Band, is kicking off the weekend with a free concert at Scissortail Park on April 22. I would also encourage you to plan a visit to the OKC National Memorial and Museum. It's open again, with all-new, exciting tech exhibits that tell the remarkable story of this momentous time in our state's (and our country's) history. Plus, you can hear the accounts of those we lost and will never forget, as well as the survivors, the heroes, and one incredible feature of our great state that was undoubtedly on display! The Oklahoma Standard was born in the eye of, at that time, the most horrific act of domestic terrorism on American soil. Our state came together to give a picture of incredible leadership and resilience through it. It was incredible!

I was also asked to give an account of my experience on that fateful day as a media personality who was on the radio that morning, only 6 miles from the explosion that rocked our state! You can find that interview and many others on display with "Journalists from that Day."

I'd love to hear your memories from that day. Share your experiences on the Kathi Yeager page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/KathiYeagerMediaFigure. Or, click the microphone link, on your free iHeartRadio App, on the Twister's station page, and record your story there! I may share it live when I'm on the air! You can share your marathon stories too! I can't wait to hear from you!
