Carly Pearce might be single for Valentine's Day, but she isn't feeling down about it.
In a recent interview with Cody Alan, the "Next Girl" singer shared her exciting February 14th plans.
"I actually get to play a show this weekend in Nashville," says Carly with excitement. "A little writer's round, with two of my favorite girlfriends, Lindsay Ell and Emily Shackleton."
"I don't put too much weight into Valentine's Day, even if I have been single or not single on Valentine's Day. I'll probably tell my pup, June Jolene Pearce, that I love her so much, and maybe I'll buy her roses."
Carly's plans to turn Valentine's Day into a 'Galentine's Day' celebration seems like the perfect solution for the newly-single star.
Pics of June have been removed from Carly's social media as the singer is prepping fans for her '29' album. However, take our word from it. This little Shih Tzu pup is pretty 'PAWFECT,' however, don't be fooled.
Carly says, "She has always been into chewing. So she enjoys to chew a lot. She likes to chew my furniture, my clothes, my shoes. Lindsay Ell is one of my dearest friends, and she just got a puppy named Hendrix, so I feel like Jolene is getting out and learning how to be a friend."
