Thunder Can't Close Against Spurs

The Thunder got off to a terrible start in the first quarter and didn't finish well either. In between they played good enough to win but the bad start and bad finish did them in, losing 114-106 to a Spurs team that had lost five straight coming in.

The Thunder had trouble scoring at the rim and as is usually the case they also had trouble trying to deal with LaMarcus Aldridge who scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.

Chris Paul was a wizard once again with 31 points on 12-for-18 shooting overall and 5-for-9 on threes. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 17 on 6-for-11 and 2-for-3 but no one else was particularly effective.

OKC's now lost two straight and will play in New Orleans tomorrow night and then take the All-Star Break. They Thunder will return to action a week from Friday night when they host the Denver Nuggets.
