Everyone should brush up on their wilderness survival skills, and thank goodness these girls did!
Sisters Caroline, 5, and Leia, 8, thanked their ability to survive being lost to recent 4-H training. It stands for 'head, heart, hands and health' and they learned to stay hydrated by getting water from leaves seeking shelter under overgrowth.
They stayed in place once they realized they were lost and were able to share a rain jacket through the night. We're glad the girls are OK and were found safe!
