Wow, so all across social platforms, Oklahomans are reacting to the news "IKEA is coming!" Seems like a really good thing to have the iconic furniture retailer joining our community, but for some of us, we're actually curious what the buzz is all about...
According to OKCTalk.com there is talk potentially that the Swedish retailer will come to North Oklahoma City to an area near Memorial Road. It looks like the new location would put it where Costco plans to open soon. The closet store to OKC is in Frisco, Texas and many are saying, "what has taken so long."
With unique furniture and food, as well as other random items, there has always been a draw to what makes it different. There are even apps to design and shop for your home with augmented reality at IKEA, among other things.
