Dan + Shay & Justin Bieber Team Up for Romantic New Song "10,000 Hours"

Justin Bieber promised "wedding music" for his collaboration "10,000 Hours" with Dan + Shay, and the trio has indeed delivered a gorgeous love song perfect for a wedding celebration.

The country duo's "10,000 Hours," featuring the pop star, was written by the guys themselves, along with Jordan Reynolds, Jessie Jo Dillon and Jason "Poo Bear" Boyd, and is the first taste of Dan + Shay's next album (which follows 2018's self-titled release). As for Justin, the track follows a string of collaborations over the last few years, including his remix of Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy," Ed Sheeran's "I Don't Care," Chris Brown's "Don't Check On Me," and more.

The romantic song is inspired by Dan Smyers, Shay Mooney, and Justin's marriages, as they sing about spending their lives with their significant others. In the chorus, the guys sing, "If it's 10,000 hours or the rest of my life/ I'm gonna love you."

The duo's Dan Smyers explains of the meaning behind song, "'10,000 Hours' is about spending a lifetime learning and loving your significant other. This song is extra special to Shay and I because we wrote it about our beautiful wives, Abby and Hannah. And it was fun to collaborate with our good buddy Justin Bieber on this because he’s in the same boat and just married his wife Hailey. This is one of our favorite songs we’ve ever written and hopefully it resonates with our fans as much as it does with us.

"10,000 Hours" also comes on the heels of Justin Bieber's second wedding to Hailey Baldwin Bieber, which Dan + Shay attended as guests and documented the celebration of love by sharing their photo booth pictures on social media.

"Had the best time celebrating the marriage of our friends @justinbieber + @haileybieber last night," wrote Dan. Meanwhile, on Shay's wife's Instagram, she shared a note from both her and her husband, "To the sweetest, most thoughtful couple... may your marriage be as beautiful as this night of celebration @justinbieber+@haileybieber. Love, The Mooney's."
