Bomb Threat Prompted Rascal Flatts to Abruptly End Indiana Show

On Thursday (August 9), Rascal Flatts had to cut their show short at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana. At the time, the crowd wasn't informed what caused the abrupt ending and were not happy that they didn't get to hear two hits: "God Bless the Broken Road" and "Life is a Highway."

On Friday (August 10), the country stars vaguely explained the situation on social media. "Due to a security concern at the show last night, standard procedures were quickly executed and everyone was able to safely leave the building," Rascal Flatts explained on Friday (August 10) via Twitter. "The safety of our fans, band and crew is always the top priority for us, so we are so thankful for everyone who jumped into action and for your understanding. We will be back soon!"

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office also only shared vague information, stating it was an open investigation without sharing any further details; however, now authorities have disclosed that a bomb threat prompted the concert's abrupt evacuation.

According to IndyStar, Sheriff Mark Bowen said in a news release that law enforcement took "appropriate action" after authorities deemed a bomb threat a "credible danger" to the venue.

Thankfully no one was hurt and there was no damage done to the building. G-Eazy with Lil Uzi Vert are scheduled to perform Friday night (August 17) at the venue, and Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper are scheduled Saturday night (August 18).
