Miranda Lambert's MuttNation set a new record by adopting out 61 dogs atCMA Fest last week.
Miranda, her mother Bev, and Dan and Shay's Dan Smyers and his wife Abby led a mile-long Mutt Strutt to kick offCMA Fest.
Miranda says, "To the uninitiated, it probably sounded like dogs barking. But to me, knowing the pure joy that comes with owning a rescue dog -- or eight -- it was music to my ears.”
The adoptable dogs -- all named for country stars -- were provided by the Nashville Humane Association.
