For years I keep saying I want to compile a easy, healthy recipe book, for the paced school mornings that also includes last minute, delicious dinner ideas, in a hurry! This book of course will feature beautiful pictures of FOOD!  Yes, I'm one of those people...  I love when people share their pretty foods on Instagram! That said, I'm always like "now where's the recipe?!"  So let's not be stingy...  If you have a great, quick and delicious meal, after school snack or even, on-the-go treat, please share!

Don't forget! This week when you comment and share, you qualify for a FREE "Spider-Man 2" DVD/BluRay!

Okay, so far this week, here are some ideas we camp up with...

This delicious and creamy "Peanut Butter Milkshake" is pack with protein and just the right amount of sweet.

1 cup of milk

1 tablespoon of honey

1 tablespoon of peanut butter (creamy if your kids don't like too much "crunch" in their milkshakes)

1 frozen banana (if you use a fresh banana, just add ice)

a good pinch of cinnamon (about 1/4 of a tsp)

Combine it all in a blender (which is also helpful to get them outta bed) and just watch... This will totally "bring them to your yard!"  ;)

If you have bread lovers in the family like I do, pass on this trick from Mediterranean families, who eat bread with almost every meal...  Just the smell of a warm baguette is hard to resist!  To give it a fresh and filling pop, just add ricotta with fresh strawberries and it's so pretty, the kids just won't be able to wait to eat it!

I slice up the bread into finger food (so it seems more like a snack)

Then add

1/2 cup of ricotta

1 tablespoon of honey

Sliced Strawberries

I add the tiny mint leaf to just mommy's, but don't always recommend, unless your kids are a bit more cosmopolitan LOL

Breakfast Bread

Then I just had to share Buff's wife Lizette's super-yummy breakfast treat... A kicked up Oatmeal!  Looks almost too pretty to eat, but you can bet it tastes FANTASTIC!

Plus it has just what the kids need to keep them, full, energized and satisfied as they head off to school.  When the weather gets colder, I can't think of a more comforting breakfast to send the kiddos off with, than a warm and sweet bowl of goodness like this!

Kicked Up Oatmeal "Buff Family Style!"  YUMMMMY!

So if you have some yummy and quick ideas, share and don't forget...  You might win a FREE "Spider-Man 2" DVD/BluRay today on the Twister!
