Garth Brooks stopped by "Good Morning America" this morning to make a very big announcement: He's going on a world tour!

Garth told the morning show's Robin Roberts, "You know what, since it's you and since we've had a history forever, let's announce it. We're going on a world tour in 2014. I can't believe I just did that but you are a doll."

The country star has been teasing a huge announcement when "the 7s align," and it all led to this morning's (7/7) good news of a world tour. Garth appeared on "GMA" to promote his new album Blame It All on My Roots: Five Decades of Influences, which includes six discs of covers and his greatest hits, along with a DVD of his Las Vegas show.

Brooks proclaimed on "GMA" this morning, "It sure feels good to get to throw your hat back in the ring."

On twitter, Garth announced that fans can tune in to a live stream of his press conference taking place this Thursday, July 10th.
