Listen to Lady Antebellum on iHeartRadio

Lady Antebellum are in the nation's capital for a special event.  The country trio is slated to receive the Recording Artists' Coalition Award at the Grammys on the Hill event, taking place at the Hamilton Live in Washington, DC on Wednesday night.

The Recording Academy's Neil Portnow says the award recognizes the group for "their artistry and inventiveness in the country arena" as well as their charitable efforts through their LadyAID Fund.

Other honorees include the House of Representatives Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, who are being acknowledged for their "tireless support of music."

The gala includes a cocktail reception and dinner along with the award presentations.  Dionne Warwick, Los Lonely Boys, and Hanson are among the music stars expected to attend.
