Listen to Keith Urban on iHeartRadio

Keith Urban is formally unveiling the details to his upcoming road trip.

The country star will head out on the "Raise 'Em Up" tour this summer, kicking off the 27-date trek in Canada with an appearance at the Calgary Stampede on July 12th.  He'll also perform at the Craven County Jamboree in Craven, Saskatchewan before returning to this side of the border.  The singer's first U.S. show is set for Atlantic City, New Jersey on July 17th.

Urban says he'll be starting fresh with his trek, which "will be a complete build from the sky down" with new staging and production.  He explains that his sets will feature more material from his latest album, "Fuse," along with "a different mix" of older hits and rarities -- including songs he hasn't "played in a while, if ever!"

Keith adds that he's excited to have Jerrod Niemann and Brett Eldredge on board as openers.

Urban also has a couple of U.S. dates coming up in advance of his tour.  He'll headline the iTunes Music Festival in Austin, Texas this Saturday, and close out the three-day Runaway Country festival in Melbourne, Florida on March 23rd.  The singer, who's currently serving as a judge on "American Idol," will perform on the Fox reality show on April 6th.
